After Hours Information

The center of your healthcare team is your primary care physician.

Coverage is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

When experiencing an urgent need after hours you are encouraged to call our office at (989) 497-5278. A physician is available to guide your care.

Call 911 in a true medical emergency.

Insurance companies are increasingly applying large copays when using any Emergency Room (including Ascension St. Mary's Towne Centre location).

Medical emergencies include symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, numbness in the face, arm, or leg, abdominal pain, and more. For more information about medical emergencies click here.

Springfield Urgent Care is Karu Medical Associates preferred urgent care facility. Other local urgent care options include MedExpress.

Urgent Care Clinics are a quick and cost-effective alternative for non-life-threatening conditions. There are several urgent care clinics, most likely one near you.

COME TO US FOR SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS. We have your complete history, we know you, and we ask that you not use an emergency room or urgent care for medical problems during regular office hours.

Achieving the high standards of patient care stipulated by Blue Cross and Blue Shield, we are your Patient Center Medical Home (PCMH). PCMH designation is an important accomplishment. Getting you the right care, at the right time and in the right place is crucial. We provide coordination of care with a specialist, if needed. Coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if an illness or accident occurs is available. We encourage you to reach out when you need us for emergency and urgent conditions.
